The São Paulo-based band Mercy Shot has been preparing for the past few months to release their new album, which is still untitled, and is set to launch by the end of this year.
The band, fronted by the powerful female voice of Karina Menasce , also the vocalist of the band Allen Key , focuses on heavy metal, punk rock, and rock'n'roll, and has already released two singles, "Sink and Thrive" and "Enemy and Ally," which can be heard below.
“The expectation is huge for the release of this EP, it’s very different, Mercy Shot is different, we’ve outdone ourselves with these songs,” says Karina, who also mentions that there will be surprises ahead, offering heavy, dense songs that talk about mental health, the impacts of life, relationships, and fears.
